STEP 2. FLIGHTS
Assuming you’re not coming via horse or helicopter, we’d recommend, flying into:
Cincinnati (CVG) — Then rent a car and drive from there to Lexington (~75 miles). The advantage: Cincinnati has nonstop flights from most major hubs, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York. For folks coming from the West Coast, we’d encourage you to take a Thursday-night nonstop “red eye” and get more time to hangout and explore on Friday.
Lexington (LEX) — For those wanting to get straight into town. There are some nonstops from East Coast hubs like Chicago, Detroit, New York, D.C., Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Charlotte. Uber, cabs, and rental cars are all available to get you to the hotel.
We hear, “Rent a car and drive 75 miles,” and we think: “REALLY FUN CARPOOL! LET’S STOP AT CRACKER BARREL!”
